Sky Full Of Stars

a/n: Happy New Year. :)

When Tiffany woke up, the very first thought that came to her mind was how cold Taeyeon’s nose was.

She felt it softly pressing against the bumps of her spine followed by gentle, lazy kisses—trailing from the small of her back up to her bare shoulders.

A quiet sigh came out of her lips when she felt Taeyeon’s lips pressing on the shell of ear, whispering a quiet ‘wake up’.

She didn’t move.

Even when the girl’s cold hands started caressing her sides, sliding from the curve of her hips to dip of her waist, Tiffany held in every shudder.

“Fany,” Taeyeon called out again as she continued the soft exploration on her bare body, pausing to wedge her hands in between the mattress and her abdomen until her arms were snugly wrapped around her waist and her equally naked front was pressed on her uncovered back.

“Babe, come on. Wake up.”

Tiffany loved Taeyeon.

She loved how she would always wake her up like this—pressing against her until she was warm enough to open her eyes, showering her skin with fleeting kisses. Taeyeon was the kind of lover who was always soft when it came to her, that even when they fought her voice always sounded so gentle.

“I know you’re awake,” came the whisper again, more teasing than coaxing.

Tiffany had to bite her lip to keep herself from moaning when she felt her lover’s hand sliding down towards her mound.

This time, she bit the inside of her cheek. Hard.

Taeyeon’s breath was warm against her ear and she almost shuddered. “Come on, Fany.”

She remained motionless.

Tiffany finally let out a whimper when a soft pressure pressed on her clit, circling her nub until the muscles on her thighs trembled underneath her skin.

She heard the girl chuckle lightly against her ear and the pressure was gone.

“Good morning. How long were you planning to fake your sleep?” Taeyeon asked, playful, pulling her on her back before bumping their noses together and kissing her cheek.

Tiffany dodged her lips when she dipped her head back down to give her another kiss.

“I hate you,” she said, placing her hands on the girl’s shoulder. She pushed her on her back and straddled her.

Taeyeon laughed as she squirmed beneath the tight squeeze around her waist, trying to push her off to the side. She was as bare as she was and even with the scarce lighting, Tiffany could still see the traces of scar on her skin.

She caught Taeyeon’s hands and held them above her head.

“You don’t get to start something like that without finishing it,” she said as she scowled, looking down at Taeyeon who let out a groan when she moved her hips and pressed down on her abdomen.

The traces of her arousal was still there, and by the way Taeyeon was looking up at her suddenly with dark eyes and an obvious hunger, Tiffany was sure she could feel the wetness too.

They held their gazes and for a moment everything stopped. The waves quieted and the wind ceased.

Until a soft touch on her thighs; a gentle pull on her hips.

The last thing Tiffany saw before she became a shuddering mess was Taeyeon’s unwavering stare from between her legs, her cold nose bumping on her clit, and her tongue sliding deep inside her.

Tiffany still felt like she was on fire.

Even after their little fun in the shower with their fingers buried deep inside each other, she still wanted more.

And when it was usually Taeyeon who would trap her in bed just to make love all day, the girl surprisingly fought off all her advances before hauling her ass outside the house with a bag in tow.

Now she found herself cruising in Hyoyeon’s borrowed Jeep, surfboards strapped on the roof and the sun barely peeking out from the horizon to her right. She had no idea where they were going, but she’s with Taeyeon, and anywhere with Taeyeon will always be a perfect place.

Tiffany looked at her girl and bit her lip. The wind was sailing through her bright, blonde hair and she looked so beautiful in her tank top and bikini shorts and Tiffany just couldn’t breathe. Taeyeon was wearing the Wayfarers she gave her on her birthday and had a small smile on her face as she drove.

Before she knew it, her hand was already buried in the girl’s hair, scratching affectionately at the back of her head.

Taeyeon turned to look at her with a grin and she could see the rising sun reflect on her glasses.

Tiffany leaned in and gave her a kiss.

It was vague but she could sort of remember it now–the spot Taeyeon told her about before they started dating. It was on the other side of the island, she said, and it was beautiful and secluded and the waves were great.

Trust Taeyeon to downplay things because Tiffany was sure that this spot was a piece of heaven.

Crystal clear blue waters and sand almost as white as Taeyeon’s skin, it was the most beautiful piece of Earth she had ever seen in her entire life. Cliffs and low rock formations framed their view of the horizon, acting as a natural vignette against the bright blue sky. The greenery that surrounded the beach was lush and alive, and Tiffany could almost feel them growing under her feet.

But her awe was cut short when Taeyeon blurred past her, already in her wet suit and briefs and her blue surfboard safely tucked under her arm. The girl stopped a few meters ahead, cupping her free hand near her mouth.

“Last one in the water unloads the Jeep!” Taeyeon shouted as she continued her sprint, leaving Tiffany dumbfounded on her spot.

The bonfire gave out a cracking sound before it went out, leaving Taeyeon and Tiffany completely in the dark. It took them a few more minutes before their eyes managed to adjust, and Taeyeon just had to smile when Tiffany let out an audible gasp when she finally saw the clear view of the stars above them. They danced and sparkled like they knew they were watching, making the night sky look like a light show.

Taeyeon held the girl tighter against her chest, bringing them to lay on the blanket they had in front of their tent. She felt Tiffany pressing soft kisses on her jaw, and she sighed when the girl’s hand slid under the fabric of her hoodie to rest on her hip.

The day couldn’t have gone any better.

The weather was perfect and the waves were equally fantastic, and really, there was nothing Taeyeon could have ever wanted more. Tiffany’s smile hadn’t left her lips since this morning—and she was already so, so beautiful—but seeing her happy and act without a care in the world made Taeyeon’s heart stop completely.

Even after a year of being together, she still found herself staring at her at the most random moments, wide eyed and slack jawed like it was the first time.

Taeyeon knew then that she could never love anyone as much as she loved Tiffany, not even the most perfect of waves.

“I woke you up real early this morning because we were supposed to watch the sunrise here when we reached,” Taeyeon suddenly said, arm curling around Tiffany’s back while the girl nuzzled her neck. Time seemed to have stopped when their fire burned out.

“The first time I saw the sun rise from this spot, the very first thing that came to my mind was that I needed to bring you here,” she continued, smiling down at the girl who was looking up at her with clear eyes and a soft smile. Above them, the stars continued to dance.

“But then you had to do that, and now we missed it.”

Tiffany’s laugh sailed through the quiet air and it made Taeyeon chuckle too, because Tiffany laughing with abandon always made her happy.

Her chuckles quieted down when Tiffany sat up to straddle her, and the thought of what happened this morning instantly jumped to the forefront of her mind. And just like hours ago, they held each other’s gazes, waiting until someone made a move.

This time it was Tiffany.

Their lips met and it started a fire that burned greater than what they had on the sand, a fire that only they could extinguish. They left scorching trails on each other’s skin and it made Taeyeon lose herself every time, because it was the kind of burn that never failed to make her feel alive, the burn that only Tiffany was allowed to give.

They held and kissed some more until no patch of skin was left untouched, until their throats were dry from calling each other’s names every time they fell apart.

They made love while the stars watched, until there was nothing left but tired smiles and full hearts.

Taeyeon held Tiffany as they watched the sun beginning to rise from the horizon, blissfully spent and even more in love.

The End.
